Barbarians of Lemuria statblocks

It occurred to me the other day as I was making some game notes that my BoL prep could really benefit from some method of shorthand or abbreviated statblocking.  So…  The basic statblock for Borg the Barbarous looks like this:

Strength 3
Agility 1
Mind -1
Appeal 1

Brawl 1
Melee 2
Ranged 0
Defense 1

Lifeblood 13
Hero Points 5
Arcane Points 0

Barbarian 3
Slave 0
Thief 0
Gladiator 1

Boons: Carouser, Hard to Kill
Flaws: Country Bumpkin

Ok, so it’s not quite as involved as BRP and far smaller than Top Secret, but still rather long compared to the Traveller or B/X D&D “shorthand” versions…  So how about we take a cue from one of those games and crunch the Attributes and Combat Abilities down to look something like this:?  31(-1)1 1201.  The use of parentheses for negative numbers isn’t that glamorous, but since there are some monster attributes that exceed 9 I have to reserve the letter system (where A=10, B=11, C=12, etc.) for those.  At any rate, the rest of the character stats can be arranged horizontally to make a reasonably-sized block that doesn’t take up a ton of space:

Borg the Barbarous
31(-1)1 1201 / LB 13 / HP 5 / AP 0
Barbarian 3, Slave 0, Thief 0, Gladiator 1
B: Carouser, Hard to Kill / F: Country Bumpkin
Great Sword (1d6+2), Battle Harness (d3-1)

Great, now how about a monster?  The block is a little different, but you get the idea:

Giant Spotted Jungle Spider
13(-2) / LB 8-12 / D5 (Chitin, d3-1) / Bite +2 (d6 + poison), Web +1 (entangle)
Poison: Bite victim must make a Strength roll or be paralyzed for 2d6+10 minutes.
Web: The spider will attempt to surprise its prey by spraying it with a tangle of weblike strands.  Characters hit by the web may attempt to dodge or become entangled (Strength roll to break free, all actions at -2/-4 for mighty success).

Thoughts?  Suggestions?
